Christopher Kaszyk
Christopher Kaszyk joined Truck Accident & Incident Experts, LLC (TAIE) as a Senior Consultant in 2025. Making his base of operations in Boston, Massachusetts, Christopher works closely with other members of TAIE to complete investigations of Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) crashes and incidents that are assigned to TAIE by either Plaintiff Counsel or Defense Counsel. It is the responsibility of TAIE Consultants, including Kaszyk, to investigate the crash/incident based on a review of Discovery/files. Additionally, TAIE consultants often inspect the CMV and/or area of the subject crash/incident, then determine as to contributing factors and/or causation opinions regarding the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), and/or the Motor Carrier industry's standards of care. Kaszyk and the TAIE consultant team then work together to develop a comprehensive report and a set of non-biased opinions that would help the trier of the facts, the Jury, understand the seemingly impossible amount of information in the file.
In addition to numerous other qualifications, Kaszyk—along with all TAIE Senior Consultants—is Level I FMCSA-MCSAP Roadside Enforcement trained, representing the highest level of certification in the industry. Kaszyk served for 20 years with the Massachusetts State Police (MSP), including the final 11 years of his career in the agency’s Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section (CVES). Throughout his tenure, Kaszyk conducted thousands of safety-related and post-crash inspections of commercial motor vehicles, including those transporting hazardous materials, cargo tanks, passengers, and radioactive loads. He possesses extensive knowledge of vehicle weight and size regulations and was trained to conduct Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) testing. In addition, toward the conclusion of his MSP career, Kaszyk was among a select group of personnel assigned to perform New Entrant Safety Audits for newly established motor carriers to ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Following his retirement from the MSP, Kaszyk briefly served as a safety officer for an emerging construction company in Massachusetts, where he gained firsthand experience with construction operations, including the daily transport of heavy equipment and the evaluation of internal safety practices. As a TAIE Level I Senior Consultant, Kaszyk offers a broad and diverse range of experience across multiple facets of commercial vehicle operations, enabling effective analysis and resolution of issues that arise in accidents involving commercial vehicles.
