Truck Accident & Incident Experts, LLC routinely perform post-crash inspections. These are conducted by in-house by FMCSA-MCSAP CVSA Level 1 roadside enforcement truck and regulatory specialist, trained and well experienced in the post-crash level 1 inspection discipline.

Such Post-Crash Inspections, (or PCI) are conducted often in a modified manner, typically focusing on areas that may or may not be chain of causation issues and/or contributing factors. These typically include: foundation airbrake failure; tire failure; steering wheel lash; air leaks; wheel failure; lug nut failure, in addition to many other potential contributing factors. All of these issues are examined both from a plaintiff standpoint and a defense standpoint.

In addition, Truck Accident & Incident Experts, LLC know where to look when it comes to inspecting a CMV. This includes documents on-board the CMV during an inspection that may serve the plaintiff claims and/or exonerate the Motor Carrier and/or professional CMV driver.

Further document examination through Discovery is often conducted in the offices of TAIE wherein we thoroughly review Motor Carrier files such as driver DQ files; ELOGs; past mechanical repairs, etc. These files that are reviewed often serve as a basis for the development of deeper diving deposition questions for the Motor Carrier’s corporate designee.
